Here is what I want to do today with Joshua 1-5, and it is immensely powerful.
Pray to the Lord.
So here we go!!!Dear Heavenly Father,
I come boldly to you. Sitting at your feet. Knowing that you have all of us (believers) in the palm of your hands. Where no one can take us from it. As each day brings so much for us to do and see. I pray that we know that you really do love your children. You do not really ask much of your children. Nevertheless, there are days that I do believe we fall short of forgetting to speak with you. Whether it is in prayer or just throughout the day. You do not ever leave our side. Even when we fall short. You are right next to us waiting for us to remember that you are there. It is sad that we can fall short as we do at times, when life is going well not all of us, but I am sure we are all known to take a sidestep and not share with you. On this day I want myself and anyone that is following my writing to not feel bad about this transaction. Just to start a fresh and a new today. This year 2024 I do believe it will have its challenges. For no day, month, or even year will not bring any or some type of challenge or difference.
. But it is how we oversee that time. You say in your word … to just stay focused on you and your son. That if we genuinely believe you have all that we need. It is sometimes hard to keep hope and faith when the world is what we feel is falling around us. We need to keep our eyes on you like Peter did in the water.
That is one of the best examples we see of how we can make it in today’s world. As I did share with my readers that I want to focus on you and what you shared with Joshua. Telling him” Joshua 1:5
No one can stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, I will be with you I will never leave you nor forsake you”.”
I do believe these words of encouragement are for all believers. However, the only way we can take charge of words like this. Is to read and share your words. In our heart and with others. Is if we learn your word, pray it into our lives and lives of others. Not forgetting to keep our eyes on you. You share that you truly will take care of us. All we need to do is be obedient to your word and seek your face. Your son has come to give anyone that believes Grace and forgiveness for our sins. We also will have everlasting life. Within your kingdom. As you share you will not leave your children so, thank you for giving us your words in the holy Bible. Help us to keep seeking your face. In this fallen world. I know this year will bring glory to your name as I and my readers stay focused on you. Thank you! I pray this in your sons’ holey name Jesus Christ Amen!
