On the tablet of your heart! Week four

As this is the fourth week. We can share that there are so many great bible verses to learn. Here is the next one that I want to put to memory . You may already know this one. However, lets as we started this year saying lets share and learn one a week. Just keep and add to the tablet  of our hearts.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him,

And he will make your path straight.

Here is chapter Proverbs3.

As we grow each week in learning Gods words. I think it is very important to read the chapter that the bible verse comes from. For I feel I do not want to take what Gods word is saying out of text, As I do believe all of Gods promises are for all his children. I do think we need to make sure what his word says all around the scripture. So, we can see if there are any conditions to follow. I know God will bless us for our faithfulness in learning and growing in his word. I do know as we all have seen as you read in the bible it is very powerful to give God his words back to him. Not only is it powerful to give Gods words back to him. The power of putting them on the tablet of your heart keeps us knowing that God will keep his words to his children. God is not a man which can lie. Forget what you think, you know about how life could be or should be. Proverbs 3:5-6 says it best. Trust in him with all. Not some not most but ALL. And he will make your path straight.

I have trouble with this sometimes as we all have struggles of life and we want to plan A, B, and C ……

There is no need to do so. Because God is telling us in this bible verse. Just trust in me. I will do what I say I will for you. If you read the chapter. He Gods word does share about putting his words on the tablet of your heart, it also shares to give your first of everything each day to him. Please go read this chapter so, as we keep this bible on our tablets of our hearts, we do all that we can to make sure we follow what God is saying with doing so.

Let’s pray.

Dear Heavenly father,

I come boldly to you today. With all that I have learned in this new year. First, I want to thank you for the goodness you have given me all my life so far. I know my struggles are real and very hard for me. I do believe that you created me in your image for so much more. I want to glorify you each day. I want to decrease so you can increase in my life.

With this new year only being in the first month and me starting to try again learning your words I know I can trust you with all. I know at times I try to go my own way. Nevertheless, I believe that Proverbs 3:5-6 is the only way to get totally free from the lies of this world. I know you have and want the best for your children. So therefore, I will let you know today I will put all that I can with your help on the tablet of my heart. I will sing your praise each day. Sharing that you will let me see your words come alive in my life. Please forgive me for not always being faithful and leaning on my own understanding. in this New Year. I will, as I have been doing, keep on reminding myself of your truths. That will bring you glory and the best life YOU have for me. No matter, the storms of life. I know I need to keep my eyes on you Lord. You gave your son Jesus so we can have everlasting life. And that your glory will prevail.

Thanks for letting me know that the plans you have for me are to give me a life, to prosper and not to harm me. To give me hope and a future. That as you never left Mosses and you shared with Joshua you will not leave or forsake me. All the days of my life. I know that I must cast all my worries and cares on you. That you will truly take care of me. No matter what I see today. You are working all the days of my life to show your goodness. I do trust with all my heart. I may not understand what is going on at times. I know you say we may not understand what is going on but as we trust with all our heart and not lean to our own understanding. You will make that path straight. You share this in your words to all of us. So, thank you for this and I believe that your words as you say will not go void.

I pray as my readers, read, and pray and learn alongside me. We keep on speaking with you and others to share that your words are going to be the factor that gives us the peace we need when times are hard. I want your life that you have for me more than the life I think I want for myself. Thank you, Lord, for all. Even when I fall and do not mean to put you on the side. I am thankful you give me another day to get it right. That you love me and others so much to make our path straight. For your glory.

I am just going to start my day in your words and keep watching you work as you do. I may be in the valley right now, but I know all my days on this earth so far. I do see the hand you have played for me with your glory. I know my struggles are real, but I do see the goodness you have provided me. I know no matter what I face you got me.  I know I can do all things with your son who strengthens me. so, thank you.

I just want to give you praise today and know my trust is in you. Today I am planting a new seed to know this is going to be the best year yet. I just need to keep my eyes on Jesus. Like Peter did. I will only fall if I take my eyes from you. I want you to have the glory for all that I do. For I am nothing without your goodness and your words to protect me.

I thank you and pray all of this in your son’s name In

Jesus Christ. AMEN.

Further Benefits of Wisdom

1 My son, do not forget my teaching,

but keep my commands in your heart,

2 for they will prolong your life many years

and bring you prosperity.

3 Let love and faithfulness never leave you;

bind them around your neck,

write them on the tablet of your heart.

4 Then you will win favor and a good name

in the sight of God and man.

5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart

and lean not on your own understanding;

6 in all your ways acknowledge him,

and he will make your paths straight.

7 Do not be wise in your own eyes;

fear the LORD and shun evil.

8 This will bring health to your body

and nourishment to your bones.

9 Honor the LORD with your wealth,

with the first fruits of all your crops;

10 then your barns will be filled to overflowing,

and your vats will brim over with new wine.

11 My son, do not despise the LORD’s discipline

and do not resent his rebuke,

12 because the LORD disciplines those he loves,

as a father the son he delights in.

13 Blessed is the man who finds wisdom,

the man who gains understanding,

14 for she is more profitable than silver

and yields better returns than gold.

15 She is more precious than rubies;

nothing you desire can compare with her.

16 Long life is in her right hand;

in her left hand are riches and honor.

17 Her ways are pleasant ways,

and all her paths are peace.

18 She is a tree of life to those who embrace her;

those who lay hold of her will be blessed.

19 By wisdom the LORD laid the earth’s foundations,

by understanding he set the heavens in place;

20 by his knowledge the deeps were divided,

and the clouds let drop the dew.

21 My son, preserve sound judgment and discernment,

do not let them out of your sight;

22 they will be life for you,

an ornament to grace your neck.

23 Then you will go on your way in safety,

and your foot will not stumble;

24 when you lie down, you will not be afraid;

when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.

25 Have no fear of sudden disaster

or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked,

26 for the LORD will be your confidence

and will keep your foot from being snared.

27 Do not withhold good from those who deserve it,

when it is in your power to act.

28 Do not say to your neighbor,

“Come back later; I’ll give it tomorrow” –

when you now have it with you.

29 Do not plot harm against your neighbor,

who lives trustfully near you.

30 Do not accuse a man for no reason –

when he has done you no harm.

31 Do not envy a violent man

or choose any of his ways,

32 for the LORD detests a perverse man

but takes the upright into his confidence.

33 The LORD’s curse is on the house of the wicked,

but he blesses the home of the righteous.

34 He mocks proud mockers

but gives grace to the humble.

35 The wise inherit honor,

but fools he holds up to shame.
