Really understanding, faith and trust within the Lord!

What is faith? Well, I am not going to give you my words of faith. I am going to go right where you and I will get the truth of what it means.

You might say where the truth is about the   word of faith is. it is in the best book ever. That is The Holy Bible the Book of Hebrews chapter 11:1states “11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.”

This is from the American Standard Bible.

This is a bible verse That needs to be in the front of your mind. Without faith we really have nothing.

I know by me saying “you have nothing without faith.”This may be hard for one to swallow but, if you think about your day faith is really all that we have or live by. Yes, now hear me out.

When you wake up in the morning. You rise out of bed and as you walk to the bathroom to wash your face. You may not think of it this way, but We have faith that the floor will be there to hold us up. Next, the water will turn on. Yes, we must pay the water bill. But even that you must have faith in your money and the water company that will keep the water on so you can wash your face and body every day. WE live by faith with all things we do all day.

Here is a brief list that we have faith in each day and do not even think about it.

1. Your car or transportation 
2. Your coffee maker or favorite place where you get coffee.
3. Your keys
4. our furniture and the biggest thing we have more faith in than anything. We carry it around as if it really would save our life. We get mad if we cannot find it. that is.
5. Your cell phone   if we only had faith like that in God just think of all the ways our lives would be better. Now for most of you, you do believe in God and his faith. But my question, is do you believe in faith with God like you do in the concise list that I just shared with you! 
   You must have faith that is so strong as the chair you sit in. You may be scratching your head. Saying “my chair.”           Yes, your chair, I say this because we just sit down and do not even think about the chair like will it hold us up. If we look at the heroes in the book of Hebrews. Heros that struggled but truly trusted. In God with all.
   know I know you may be saying “that is just a book written a long time ago. No please trust in the word of God. His promises are so real and true. I do believe it more than anyone I know. You may be saying “but teresa, I see all your struggles and how hard your life is. Yes, that may be true, but did you ever think that for me? God can trust me with my biggest struggles. Yes, even though there are days I want to say, “REALLY God.”
   do believe he trusts me to have faith in him. Because no matter what I keep on trusting and sharing with the world about the goodness of his love and knowing that he is going to show up like no one else. I have shared so many times the real-life struggles that I have but as I share them, I can share. How God has always come through. The last one was the biggest one. I do not know if I have shared with my readers about this one. I knew as I was going to the first blind school and came back. I did share how I trusted in man, but man left me down a hole that did not work. I am not mad at anyone that promised something that they could not bring to pass. Now, I may have changed a lot of stuff in my life because of it. however, my trust in God had to be bigger. I also as my faith at times is still as small as a mustard seed. Know that God had the best plan for my life. I still may not understand it but. I will trust with all my heart. He truly has my back. And I can say with all my heart to you, “He HAS Yours Too!”
   ow, the second time I went to my next school. I was there for seven months I did think as they did share with me, I would be able to find a place to live and have support in finding a job. Well, Thank God for him. And the trust I do put in Him. Because I did all that I could but the school really before my time was up just wanted to stop helping me. The State of Texas services saw all the Potential, I had in my learning but, as I do share the staff at the school did not see it. I truly have to say God was ready for me to trust in his process and let the doors shut on that. I at first thought how could the school just not see me through my learning and let me stay. But God shut the door. And my trust had to come from the Lord. People (friends) that I never thought would come through did. I do believe God brought a friend to give me the next step as well God opened my mothers heart to let me stay with her. I at some point was not understanding why when I got done with the first school and thought I had a place to go. No, not even my mother wanted me. God proved that he was in control. The trust I had to have in him again was small on my side, but his faith was incredibly strong in where I was to go next
   
   I truly know and have shared for a long time. put trust in the Lord before man. Which as I share that God really says this in His   word in the book of Psalm 118:8-14

   8 It is better to take refuge in the Lord   than to trust in humans. 9 It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in princes. 10 All the nations surrounded me, but in the name of the Lord, I cut them down. 11 They surrounded me on every side, but in the name of the Lord, I cut them down. 12 They swarmed around me like bees, but they were consumed as quickly as burning thorns; in the name of the Lord, I cut them down. 13 I was pushed back and about to fall, but the Lord helped me. 14 The Lord is my strength and my defense[a]; he has become my salvation.
6. And he is your salvation as well. We just need to take everything to him in prayer and supplication. Whiewhile , that may be hard at times. If you look in Gods word you will Gods word sharing that with us. The book of Proverbs provides   us the words in trusting God in prayer and supplication. There is so many times if you and I just trust and read Gods word. He will provide the way no matter how hard it is in life. We see it in Jobs live. I will end today’s blog and saying. Keep on reading, having faith, hope and trusting in the Lord up above. No matter what you are going through. He lets you and me know in many places in his word he has us. as I have started the year with the bible verse Joshua 1-5. If he did not leave Mosses, then he will not leave you and me. Yes, he is sharing this with Joshua who now in the book of Joshua has a big job to do. We in today’s world have a big job to do as well. As believers knowing the word and sharing it. will keep us grounded with what God has for us.
   So, as I started FAITH is what we need to start with. Learn Gods word. Speak with him. And watch his love and protection grow for his glory.
